TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Bottled Bridge
These Terms & Conditions govern all sales of Goods by the Seller to the Customer.
No other terms or conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing by the Seller.
By confirming an order, the Customer accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.
All orders are pre-paid and confirmed in advance of shipping.
Orders are fulfilled on a pre-order basis and will be dispatched once the bulk shipment arrives in the UK.
Prices are in GBP and include UK excise duty. VAT is applied where applicable.
All products are subject to availability until confirmed.
We only sell alcohol to customers aged 18 or over.
By placing an order, the Customer confirms they are at least 18 years old.
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If the delivery driver believes the recipient looks under 25, valid photo ID (passport, UK photocard driving licence, PASS card) must be shown.
The person receiving the delivery must be the same person who placed the order and appears as the named recipient on the delivery label. Deliveries will not be left with neighbours or alternative recipients.
If satisfactory ID cannot be produced by the named recipient, delivery will be refused and the order cancelled without refund, as the responsibility lies with the recipient.
Orders placed by anyone under 18 are void.
Once an order is confirmed and paid, it cannot be cancelled.
The only exception is if delivery is refused under the Challenge 25 policy. In this case, the order is cancelled and the goods returned to the Seller, with no entitlement to refund.
Customers must ensure the named recipient with valid ID is available to receive delivery.
Deliveries are made via trusted courier partners.
The delivery must be accepted by the named Customer who placed the order. The courier will request ID if there is any doubt about age.
Deliveries cannot be left unattended or with third parties (including neighbours).
If the named Customer is not available, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the goods to the Seller.
Delivery dates are estimates only. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events beyond its control.
Damaged on delivery: Goods must be inspected on receipt. Any visible damage must be reported to the courier at the point of delivery and to us within 2 hours, with photographs.
Faulty wine (e.g. corked): Must be reported within 2 hours of opening the bottle, and no later than 2 days from delivery. We may request the bottle be returned for inspection before issuing a replacement.
Change of mind: Returns for change of mind or personal taste are not accepted.
Refund timing: Valid refunds or replacements may take additional time if stock is limited or awaiting replenishment. The Seller will communicate expected timeframes.
We maintain a small contingency reserve of bottles with each import to replace damaged or faulty goods.
As we operate on a limited, batch-based model, once this reserve is used, immediate replacements may not be possible.
In such cases, we will:
Offer a replacement from the next incoming batch, or
Issue a refund once additional stock becomes available.
Customers should be aware that refunds may therefore be delayed if stock is not immediately available.
The Seller’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the Goods supplied.
The Seller accepts no liability for consequential loss, including (without limitation) loss of profit, enjoyment, goodwill, or missed events.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence.
